Join us for an experiential art session where mindful meditation inspired by SAM’s collection of artworks will guide you in journalling your thoughts. Learn techniques in creative expressions through art that will teach you the ways of self care and development of mental resilience.
Each participant will receive an A5-sized journal and a set of markers. Please feel free to bring along additional materials.
SAM provides this free workshop in support of Beyond The Label Fest 2020, which aims to tackle mental health stigma and encourage support and acceptance of persons in recovery from mental health conditions. A donation of $10 to the Community Chest is required per registration. As a programme partner, SAM does not retain, nor benefit from your donation.

About the facilitator
Wan Ting is a trained Art Therapist with a Master of Arts in Art Therapy at Red Balloon Therapy. Her clinical experiences include working with various groups of individuals ranging from people with mental health issues to people with special needs, multiple disabilities as well as children coming from disadvantaged families to process through developmental trauma, loss and divorce. She has conducted art-making sessions, individual art therapy to group therapy sessions in the community, schools and social service organisations.
