Digital Materiality
Digital Materiality presents insights by Dr Laura Tripaldi, who works in the realms of material science and nanotechnology, and the kinds of intelligences that harbor within our natural environments.
In relation to HzHz by Chok Si Xuan, Dr Tripaldi will elaborate about the histories, usage and philosophy behind liquid crystals, the industrial material embedded in digital display screens. Following which, it will lead into an informal discussion prompted by researcher Helios Singh Bajwa and artist Chok Si Xuan on key ideas around materiality, interfaces, and their shared interests.
