Gallery Talk: Just a Little at a Time
with Singapore Sign Language Interpretation
What inspired paper artist Cheryl Teo to create the various matchbox-sized paper sculptures shown in Superfluous Things: Paper? In this Gallery Talk, we give you insights into the inspiration and creative process behind the artist’s miniature paper sculpture universe. This half-hour talk will be led by the people from SAM together with our friendly Deaf facilitators, and delivered in spoken English with Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) interpretation by Equal Dreams and is intended for the Deaf and Hard-of-hearing community. After the talk, participants are welcome to try their hand at making their own miniature paper sculptures and other craft activities in The Engine Room, or continue to explore the galleries.
