Prior to the opening of Lost and Found: How We Remember, curator Haeju Kim and artist Candice Lin invite audiences to a first look at her work in the exhibition, Seeping, Rotting, Resting, Weeping, and a closer conversation around the ideas, materials and processes behind it.

Join us for a short walkthrough of the artwork ahead of the exhibition opening. The preview offers an opportunity to encounter the work in situ and hear directly from Lin about the work and its place within the exhibition.

The artwork preview is a small-group guided experience, with limited places available. Access is reserved for holders of the Artwork Preview & Artist Talk ticket.

Artist Talk and Conversation — 50 min (2.30 - 3.20pm)
Level 3, Corporate Office
In this artist talk, Candice Lin reflects on the development of her practice through material experimentation and research. From her engagement with indigo and plant-based materials to her recent work with 8mm and 16mm film, Lin considers how colour, dyes, chemicals and material histories can carry traces of the past. In conversation with Haeju Kim, Lin will discuss the ideas and processes behind her work, including new research emerging from her residency in Germany.

The conversation will be followed by a Q&A with the audience. The artist talk and conversation is open to all ticket holders.
