Create your batik masterpiece using the cold wax technique this March holidays! Participants will be exposed to the history and techniques of traditional batik. You will complete a 20 x 20 cm batik by the end of this 3-hour workshop.

This activity is inspired by the exhibition, Yee I-Lann: Mansau-Ansau, currently showing in SAM’s Gallery 1.

• Recommended for ages 5 and above. Children below 8 should be accompanied by an adult.
• Each workshop ticket is for one 20 x 20 cm batik piece; please reserve another ticket if you wish to make an additional 20 x 20 cm batik piece.
• The workshop ticket does not include an admission ticket to the Yee I-Lann: Mansau-Ansau. Exhibition entry tickets must be collected separately.
• Participants do not need to purchase tickets to the exhibition to experience this workshop.
