Let your creativity soar with Commenhers and turn used ripstop fabric into your very own upcycled pouch!

 

In this workshop, participants will:
• Transform used ripstop nylon into functional pouches
• Understand the fundamentals of upcycling and develop basic machine stitching skills
• Learn about the concept of materiality and how it relates to the work Parachute cloth and shrapnel, which is featured in the exhibition, Pratchaya Phinthong: No Patents on Ideas.

 

About Commenhers
Commenhers excels in upcycling textile waste, including repurposing flawed or decommissioned uniforms into unique, retail-ready products or corporate gifts. They also prioritise social responsibility by working with local beneficiaries like housewives, the elderly and tailors, and integrating them into their production team.
