A key artist in Singapore’s art history, Heman Chong’s multi-faceted practice dates back to the early 2000s. The survey exhibition presents recent artworks and new commissions which reconsider canonical works from his oeuvre. Characterised by acerbic wit, Chong’s art addresses contemporary geopolitics and the infrastructural ironies of our data-driven and networked society. This large-scale exhibition is accompanied by a publication that surveys the artist’s practice and includes essays by international curators who have collaborated with him from across his career.
